Hoopes Financial was founded by Justin and Kari Hoopes in 2006. Justin Hoopes was born in 1980 in Star Valley Wyoming. He spent his early years in Wyoming, and his teenage years near Ogden Utah where he attended Weber State University. Graduating Shortly before turining 19, he soon thereafter spent two years as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. After Returning in 2001, he started Ph.D studies at Utah State University. Starting in April 2002, he began working full time for Spendlove Research Foundation in a scientific capacity while concurrently completing his Ph.D. He is currently employed as a pharmaceutical consultant specializing in antiviral research.
